The client brief was key, “to create a unique sanctuary for the owners and his family to enjoy for now and years to come.” Construction of the two storey beachside residence took place over 11 months, and resulted in a truly unique architecturally designed home with 4 large bedrooms, study, outside kitchen/bar, powder room, rumpus & in-ground lap pool. Land was cleared and civil works were attended to by Ryan and his team prior to the construction of this architecturally designed residence. One which truly is the epitome of deluxe beach side living, keeping in mind the home was designed and constructed around a pre existing frangipani tree which now stands pride of place at the front and centre of the residence. Meticulously designed by architect Murray Cox, the property boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living spaces & hidden laundry, in addition to a private deck accessible from the master bedroom. Upon entry one can only but admire the feature Blackbutt timber stairway constructed by master craftsman Matt Kimmorley from Esoteric xs. All fittings & appliances within the bathrooms, laundry & kitchen complement the contemporary yet relaxed feel of the home....

This dual occupancy residence located on the water’s edge at New Brighton encompasses many unique features, most notably two thirds of the internal and external walls are constructed from rammed earth. Made up of different shades of clay & earth the natural resources were hand selected by the owner from quarries in Pottsville and the Sunshine Coast. The home features natural looking burnished concrete flooring throughout the main living areas with the master bedroom featuring stunning American Oak floorboards. Minimalist yet striking brass finished plumbing fixtures from Brodware are found throughout the homes wet areas and are perfectly complemented against the tones of the Rammed Earth. Keeping in tune with the natural external surroundings the main residence includes a private meditation room which features copious natural light, American Oak floorboards & rammed earth.
